Pork Chops with Fennel Salad minus the fennel salad

Hello everyone,  Tonight I will be making pork chops with fennel salad minus the fennel salad.  I couldn't find any fennel bulbs to make the salad with nor do I really know what a fennel bulb looks like or exactly what it is.  I will have pictures of the pork chops.  I will have to look at the recipe to see if there is more to the fennel salad, we might have part of the salad.  Thanks for reading, God bless.
